I played more with the kit 'Dark Of The Night' by Gothic Inspirations. I am really enjoying this kit, there are so many elements to play with along with some very cool papers. I know I will love using this kit again and again. Here is a blog layout I did with this kit.

Haircut!

The whole family got haircuts today. A friend of my mother in law comes to her house to do hers and offered to give the rest of us a trim as well. She does a really nice job and we were all happy with how each of ours came out. I snapped a few shots of my son after we got back home, when I asked him about his expression and all - he replied with 'just being cool'. It cracked me up but I used it in the wording on the layout.

For this layout I used a scrapkit called Butterfly Wishes by Melissaz Creationz. It's a neat kit with lots of bright colors - great for a boy or even a girl as there are flowers and butterflies among the papers and elements.

Boo-tiful CT stuff

I got the chance to play with another awesome kit from The Urban Fairy today. This is her latest kit, it's called Boo-tiful. I made a blog layout with it as well as a scrap page which I also made as a quick page to share with others. I absolutely loved the elements in this kit. The flowers are amazing, the little characters are adorable, I especially love the swirlies and butterfly. Kit is available for purchase here: OSDS

I made a quick page!!!!!!!!!

Woohooo.. dances around! Okay maybe it's not all that and a bag of chips, but it's my first one. I don't have many personal pics on my computer so I ended up working on this page and not having my own pics to use in it. That's how it ensed up a quick page. Now that I've done it, I'm totally excited about it! Of course I'll get better at them with more practice.. hehe now I have an excuse to play more.. anyway onto the page..

Rock On blog

I have finished another layout, this one looks pretty simple but it took me awhile to finish it and get it to look like this.. or rather it took me doing it over a bunch of times. The kit I was working with was pretty cool but I just couldn't get the right combination of papers and elements - aaghhh I hate when that happens. I almost gave up but then I decided one more try.. and voila! It all just came together. It was likely all the distractions from the family earlier tonight that kept me from getting this one easily. Darn family - don't they know I'm creating here? lol!
Anyway here is the layout and I think I'm going to do a tag with this kit tomorrow, I got a bunch of ideas in that direction while working on the layout. If anyone wants to use this - please save to your own photohost and use the credits below the preview.

Flowery

Here is another layout I made tonight. This time I used HezaScraps Flowery Fields kit.
It's kind of simple, I didn't use a lot of embelishments on it. The simplicity of it is what makes it pretty.. Well that and the colors.. Some great color in this kit!

Here is a second version of this same layout, with just a little more to it. There is only a small difference between this one and the one above. When I saved the first one I forgot I had one layer closed so it wasn't visible. I realized it after and couldn't decide which version I liked more, since they were so close. I ended up saving this next one as an alternate version of the first. Please use the same credits as above if you want to use it.

Alright so I played some more with this scrap kit, I just love the colors and the butterflies! If you can't tell from my own blog and my tags.. I really love pink and dark reds (especially the two together!) Anyway I made a blog layout with this kit and I'm almost thinking of using it here. It really came out nice.. at least I think so.
